Today we went to a birthday party for Brooke, a little girl in your class. It was a princess party and it was awesome! You got to dress up and put on dress up shoes and make up. You even got your nails painted. Then they had a runway show and you said your favorite food was lunch, your favorite animal is a giraffe, and when you grow up you want to be a princess. Then there was a tea party with real china. It was lots of fun!

Then in the evening we went out to eat at Serrano's and then shopping at Kohl's.

Well today was the dreaded day that I had to go to work. I took you to Nanny's and you had a good day. Daddy picked you up and he said that you were being such a good girl. So one day down, 5 to go.

July 23, 2009

In the morning we hung out at home and did a little cleaning. Then in the afternoon we ran some errands. We went to the post office, the library, and to Target. We also stopped at Round Rock Donuts and got a donut that was still warm. It was the best thing I have ever had in my life. You liked it too. I have to go to work tomorrow and I am still pissed about that, but you are going to stay with Nanny, so I'm sure you will be spoiled.

July 22, 2009

Today you had your picture taken at Portrait Innovations. I had this really cute pink Paris dress that I wanted you to have your picture taken in so we did. I wasn't really that impressed with the photographer, but you did a really good job and we got some cute pics. I curled your hair before we left and it looked really cute. You used to have lots of curl in your hair when you were younger, but now it's all kind of fallen out.

Then in the afternoon we went to the grocery store. You didn't get to ride in the race car cart, so you were a little upset about that, but you managed.

July 21, 2009

Today we went to Chuck e Cheese with Nana, Papa, Elizabeth and Benjamin. It was lots of fun again! You are still scared of Chuck e though. Then we went to Barnes and Noble to take something back and went to get gas for the car and went through the car wash, you think those are fun. Then for dinner we went back to Nana's and Papa's and had Chick Fil A. You are so crazy when you are with your cousins and you didn't want to leave, so I had to carry you out of the house screaming and crying. It was great!

Today we went with Nana and Elizabeth to Applebee's for lunch and then we went to Barnes and Noble and got some books. Elizabeth and Benjamin are staying with Nana and Papa because Doug and Eleanor are in New York. Which brings me to mention that I have never spent a night away from you, ever in your life. Not that I think that's awesome or anything, I just wanted to mention it. Let me also mention that I have to go back to work on Friday of this week and then all next week! It's for training and I've been pissed about it all summer because who starts something on a Friday after being off for the whole summer? It seems idiotic to me, but oh well, that's how it is. But whatever!

In the morning you went to Wal Mart with Daddy. The rest of the day we didn't really do anything exciting because I didn't feel very well, I had a headache.

This morning you went swimming with Daddy and the pool in Nana's and Papa's neighborhood. Then in the afternoon we went to Target.

July 17, 2009

This morning you went to Nana's and Papa's for a little while and then we met Lori and Hayden and Hannah a Chuck e Cheese. You all had lots of fun except for when you saw Chuck e cheese, you screamed and cried. I was up ordering pizza and you couldn't see me and you were hysterical, I felt horrible. Then you were okay after a little while. We ended up staying for 4 hours. We even ran out of tokens, but you just played in the back with the TV screens.

Today was your last day of swimming lessons. I was so pleased with how you did. You ended up jumping in the pool!







Today was parent's day so we got to stay inside the pool and take pictures. The other days we had to wait outside the gate. Next year I think I will sign you up for the whole summer.

Mommy got paid today so we had lots of fun! We went to swimming, then home, then to Gymboree to buy a few things with Gymbucks. It was so crowded in there and I was afraid you were going to walk out of the store because for some reason they always keep the door open. I got you a few things for when school starts. You have tons of clothes though. Then we went to the grocery store and you got to ride in the race car cart. You love that.

Today was swimming lessons in the morning and you still love it! I'm still amazed that you just jump into the pool now. Then we came home and you actually took a nap today. You don't really nap anymore, so it was nice that you took one.

I can feel the days of summer ticking down and I hate thinking about going back to school. I love getting to spend time home with you, even if you do drive me crazy sometimes.

You are doing so much better at swimming lessons. You jump into the pool now and actually put your whole body under the water willingly. It's amazing compared to how you were just a week ago. I am so proud! You seem to really enjoy it.

Today we went to church and Nanny met us there. You did really well although you didn't want to go to Bible class for some reason. Then we all went out to eat at Red Lobster. You love their biscuits.

Today you went with Daddy to Home Depot while I went to the grocery store. At Home Depot, you and Daddy picked out a new dishwasher for us. I am so excited to get it! They are going to deliver it next Saturday.

Then in the evening we went the The Salt Lick for Nanny's birthday dinner. Your friend Bella was there and y'all had lots of fun playing together. Then we went over to Nanny's house for cake. You stayed up the latest I think you ever have in your whole life, until about 11:00 p.m. You did really well, you weren't even grumpy.

Today Nana came over and took care of you for a little while because I had an eye appointment. Then after I came home we just played inside for most of the day.

You didn't cry at all today at swimming lessons and I was so proud of you because you put your face in the water twice! We didn't really do anything exciting the rest of the day, you helped me clean a little bit.

Today Papa took you to swimming lessons because I had a doctor's appointment. You got stung by a bee when you were there, but he said they put ice on it and you seemed to be okay, so I guess you aren't allergic to bees. He said you didn't cry. Then you stayed over at their house for a little while and I went to pick you up around 3:00.

You did pretty well at swimming lessons today. You just cried for a little bit, but the teachers are really nice and I think you enjoyed yourself once you got in the pool. It is so hot out there I about die! We have to wait outside the gate and the sun is just blazing down! At least the lessons are only 25 minutes.

July 6, 2009

Today was your first swimming lesson. You did pretty good, but the teacher said you were a little worried because you couldn't see me, so tomorrow I am going to stand outside the gate where hopefully you will be able to see me. But you didn't scream and cry the whole time, so I took that as a good sign.

In the afternoon we went to your 4 year well check. They checked your hearing and vision and you had to get 2 shots. You did really well, but then you screamed the whole way home because you had taken off your bandaids and you wanted new bandaids but I didn't have any. I about went crazy. Then of course you fell asleep about 2 minutes before we got home.

July 5, 2009

Today was a really busy day. First, we went to Priceilla's for her birthday party. They had a big water slide bouncy thing in the backyard, and you loved that thing. You were going down head first. I was so surprised! It was so funny! Then after that we went to Nana's and Papa's for Eleanor's birthday dinner. You had fun playing with Benjamin and Elizabeth. You were really tired when we got home and fell right asleep.

July 4, 2009

You drove me crazy today! Something was wrong, I think you needed a nap. In the evening you and your daddy went to see the Round Rock fireworks. I didn't want to go since it was so hot, so you 2 went. Daddy said that you had fun and didn't get very scared.

We went on vacation to San Antonio. This is our view from our hotel, the Omni. We stayed on the 18th floor and had an excellent view.




You really like hotels. The whole way up there you kept asking if we were at the hotel yet. I think that is your favorite part of the trip. Our hotel was really nice! We had a buffet breakfast both mornings and the room was really nice. The hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool and you and your daddy went swimming. You don't actually get in the pool though, you sit on the step.



The first night we went to the circus at the Alamodome. You seemed really excited at first, but when it started it was really loud and the fireworks scared you, so you sat in my lap for the first half, but after intermission you perked up and enjoyed yourself. You liked the elephants and the tigers. I only got one picture, the rest were too dark.




We got back to the hotel around 11:00 after waiting forever to get out of the parking lot. You were very tired and went right to sleep.

The next day we went to Fiesta Texas. You really wanted to see Wiggle World and you were very excited.






You were a little scared of the characters here and wouldn't get your picture taken without Daddy.

At Wiggle World you rode several of the rides and then we saw a show. You moved right up by the stage and you kept waving at the characters. Captain Feathersword even got you with some feathers. You were the cutest!







After that we were worn out and went back to the hotel to rest. It was so hot there and we were ready to be done. That night we went out to eat at Benigans and went to bed at about 9:00. Then the next morning we went and had breakfast and then you and daddy went swimming. We checked out of the hotel and then went to the Outlet Mall on the way home.



It was a great vacation! You did a really good job and we all had a lot of fun.
